The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angels, Little Flock, and other material written by the
pioneers of the Seventh-day Adventist church are available for perusal and
downloading. All material is from those people closely related to the Advent
movement basically started when the Holy Spirit pressed the conviction on
William Miller in 1831 to publicly preach, thru the 1843 - 1844 disappointment,
on past the confusion that followed, after the organization of the SDA church
in 1863, down to the time that James White died and Uriah Smith became editor at the Battle Creek publishing house in 1881. Some other original books will be made available also. Featured writers will be William Miller, Ellen White, James White, and Joseph Bates. As "The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels" is the second most important book in the whole world, it will command most of the spotlight.

The first chapter of the 1858 Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angels book has been made into a Flash animated movie. Many people especially in S.E. Asia have found this movie to be very interesting, in helping them to grasp visually what the words in this book are saying. Many children are surprised to see Satan as a beautiful angel, as they only know him as an ugly beast with hooves and horns!

By request from a site that is putting many audio books of Ellen White up on the internet, i have uploaded the high-quality (128-bit compared to the above 32-bit) version of the reading of the 1858 Great Controversy book. Each chapter is a separate file, with the average size being around 8MB. Depending on the need, i anticipate making this available for only one or two months, so hurry to download them all if you want to listen to higher-quality recordings. The files are:

Study Guide for the 1858 version of The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels
This study guide took a little over one year for the webmaster to make. It covers every chapter in the book, paragraph by paragraph, and asks 674 questions which can be directly answered from the book. The object is to get readers to understand more deeply the contents of the book, while avoiding open-ended type of questions which often lead to debate. All comments and advice are welcome.

(slowly). Here is the status of the various languages it's been translated and
printed in. The webmaster is very interested in getting it translated into
Chinese, French, and Portuguese especially, and will do all he can to
get it translated and printed in these and other languages. Please send emails
saying: "I can translate it into....." Let's work with the 3rd angel!

The statistics program only keeps stats for 6 months, so the following figures are just 1/2 figures doubled to arrive at the year 2008 totals. Over 56,500 books and 14,300 mp3 files (audio books) were downloaded, and there were 6,000 viewings of the animation. May God's Holy Spirit be sent to bless each one who reads and listens to these books and watches the animation. "William Miller" was again the most searched-for phrase to come to this site. The most downloaded pdf book was the Nepali 1858 Great Controversy. Translations/proofreadings of this 1858 Great Controversy book are still in progress in Thai, Romanian, maybe Chinese, and maybe some Indian languages. It is scheduled to get printed in Burma in January. 3D animation software TrueSpace has been downloaded to start making this book into an animated movie, but i'm lost. Can anyone help? May God bless everyone who sees the pics, listens to the books, watches the movie, and especially reads the Words of God in the 1858GC book. May they also receive encouragement and instruction in the other books on this site is my prayer - Daniel Winters.
UPDATE 2/14 Thai 1858 Great Controversy printed!, Burmese scheduled for printing in latter half of this month.
UPDATE 5/29 Gujarati and Marathi versions translated, awaiting input. Swahili translator found! Romanian translation ready to proofread. Burmese translation - not yet printed....

NOTICE: This is the ORIGINAL Great Controversy that very few people have ever read. Later versions with quotes from historical authors etc. were published in 1884, 1888, & 1911, but this one, 100% from the pen of Ellen White, is very powerful! This book is now often called "Spiritual Gifts Vol.1".
