The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angels, Little Flock, and other material written by the
pioneers of the Seventh-day Adventist church are available for perusal and
downloading. All material is from those people closely related to the Advent
movement basically started when the Holy Spirit pressed the conviction on
William Miller in 1831 to publicly preach, thru the 1843 - 1844 disappointment,
on past the confusion that followed, after the organization of the SDA church
in 1863, down to the time that James White died and Uriah Smith became editor at the Battle Creek publishing house in 1881. Some other original books will be made available also. Featured writers will be William Miller, Ellen White, James White, and Joseph Bates. As "The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels" is the second most important book in the whole world, it will command most of the spotlight.

The first chapter of the 1858 Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angels book has been made into a Flash animated movie. Many people especially in S.E. Asia have found this movie to be very interesting, in helping them to grasp visually what the words in this book are saying. Many children are surprised to see Satan as a beautiful angel, as they only know him as an ugly beast with hooves and horns!

Study Guide for the 1858 version of The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels
This study guide took a little over one year for the webmaster to make. It covers every chapter in the book, paragraph by paragraph, and asks 674 questions which can be directly answered from the book. The object is to get readers to understand more deeply the contents of the book, while avoiding open-ended type of questions which often lead to debate. All comments and advice are welcome.

The straight testimony of the original "The Great Controversy Between Christ
and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels" is going out thru all the earth
(slowly). Here is the status of the various languages it's been translated and
printed in. The webmaster is very interested in getting it translated into
Chinese, French, and Portuguese especially, and will do all he can to
get it translated and printed in these and other languages. Please send emails
saying: "I can translate it into....." Let's work with the 3rd angel!

Year 2011 is over, and we are one year nearer to Jesus' coming in the clouds to take us home. Last year there were over 55,000 1858 Great Controversy books downloaded from this site with Romanian, Tagalog, Hindi, and Nepali showing the most interest after the English version. Over 46,000 Testimonies for the Church books, 19,000 books each of assorted Ellen and James White's and William Miller books were downloaded also. As this new year is designated as the year of the Great Controversy Project by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, i want to put even more effort this year on getting this book into as many hands and hard drives as possible.
The 1858gc book was printed in no languages that i know of last year, but the Armenian and Kannada translations are done and awaiting proofreading. The Spanish translation was redone, so hope to put the improved translation on the internet soon. The Marathi and Gujarti translations are at exactly the same place as 2 years ago at this time. It is a sad thing when God's people hold onto his words and don't make efforts to spread them..... I was told the Indonesian version was translated, but then my contact there stopped informing me concerning the current status, so am not sure what is happening with that. The Swahili translator who took my money several years ago and did not translate the book sent a email last year saying he was sorry, and he will work now to translate it, but there was no further contact this year. The Tibetan version has been translated and printed, but printed improperly, so all copies had to be destroyed, and the printer hasn't gotten around to reprinting them. However, at the end of the year funds were sent to reprint the book, so hopefully it will be the first one done this year. A email at the end of the year from Brazil stated that a man there has translated this book into Portuguese, so am hoping that will come to fruition.
Does anyone have any clues on someone to translate it into Chinese? It's been translated 2 1/3 times into Chinese already, but still cannot be used as the 2 completed translations are not faithful. It is hard to find people who really take this book to heart, who want to spread it. It is nice to hear tho, once in a while of people working to spread this 2nd most important book in the whole world :) If anyone wants to help financially, i know of a faithful Brother in the Philippines who i've sponsored for 3 years in the past, who will be happy to return to the Philippines to spread this book in the 4 languages there for just 1,800usd per year! I moved back to Japan last year, and have an income for the first time in over 5 years except for a 8month stint in Thailand, so hope to be pushing forward this book work more now.
